Benfica's new 2017-18 jersey draws inspiration from the kits worn during the Eusebio era.

The Benfica 2017-18 home shirt is inspired by the kits worn during the Eusebio era, when the club won 11 domestic titles. Therefore, it features a classic white collar and a clean front without any graphic design.

The Adidas 3 Stripes, placed on the shoulders of the Benfica 17-18 kit blend in nicely with the rest of the design.

In January 2014, Benfica's players all wore the name of Eusebio rather than their own on the back of their shirts and synchronized placards produced a huge image in the stands of Eusebio to pay homage to the 'Black Panther', who died on January 5 2014 aged 71.



The shorts of the new Benfica home kit will be white and red, while the socks will combine two different shades of red.
