The new Man City home kit introduces a modern design. Made by Nike, the new Manchester City 16-17 shirt was leaked today and is set for a debut in the first pre-season game of the season.

This is the new Nike Manchester City 2016-2017 home shirt.

Based on Nike's new AeroSwift jersey template, the Manchester City home shirt is light blue, with the sleeves offset in navy and light blue. The Man City 2016-17 comes with a simple collar and the lettering City on the back.

The front of the new Nike Manchester City 16-17 home kit comes with the new club crest that was revealed some months ago.

The most remarkable feature of the new Nike Manchester City 16-17 home kit, apart from the logo, will however be the shorts and socks color combination; for the first time in club history, the Manchester City home kit will consists of a sky blue shirt, sky blue shorts and white socks.

Sky blue - sky blue - white: the unique combination of the Nike Man City 2016-2017 is bears a clear resemblance to Nike's Euro 2016 kits, which will see similar styles (e.g. France blue-blue-red, Portugal red-red-green), although it has to be seen whether it will be carried out like that on the field. Nike unveiled this year's third kit with a green-green-black combination which is yet to be used in an official game.
